A Message from the library Director
Dear Hackensack Community:
The safety of our patrons and staff are Johnson Public Library's top priority. Because of this, we have decided that it is in the best interest of everyone to close the building to the public until April 6th. The decision to close is not one that we take lightly. The staff want nothing more than to continue to serve the City that we love. Therefore, we will be on hand Monday-Saturday from to answer e-mails. Staff are also working on plans to livestream Story Time sessions and offer additional services remotely. Please keep an eye on JPL's social media accounts and our website for details.
We encourage you to continue to return items in the book drop and utilize our digital services.
Links to helpful COVID-19 information can be found on the State Library's website, here.
This is an unprecedented and fluid situation, and we will continue to update our website and social media accounts with any and all changes.
Please feel free to call us - we are here for you!
Sincerely yours,
Tara Cooper
Library Director
